I've been told that I give too much info that sometimes turns buyers away. But considering what this jewelry is for - I would rather give too much info than not enough.
•I fill all of my jewelry personally so that I know what the buyer might experience.
Having sausage fingers like I do, this tiny locket can be tricky to screw back together once filled. So I thought I would tell you what to expect and give some tips. Keep in mind that your experience may differ.
• The locket is tiny, so it takes time and dexterity to open and close. Be patient. If you get frustrated, walk away for a few minutes and try again.
•After opening, you will put a little ashes in the cap, NOT THE BASE.
•Do not overfill it. Buyers have a tendency to pack in as much ashes as they can. But if it's over filled, the base will not screw on because the ashes will stop the base from screwing down flush.
•I set the cap on my index finger tip while using my middle finger or thumb to keep it steady.
•Once I get the cap and base to grab on, I take a toothpick and dip it in glue and apply a little glue to the screw threads. Then I screw the cap all the way down.
•I use a cotton swab or paper towel to wipe away excess glue.
