This fillable glass orb concept is a signature design of my shop, carefully assembled at my studio bench since 2016 to offer a uniquely styled, secure token of remembrance.
• Secure Interlocking Design: The internal glass orb stays entirely safe and secure once your necklace chain is threaded through the top loops. The chain keeps the locket locked completely closed—it will not open until you intentionally slide the chain off.
• Easy Opening: Simply slide your chain entirely off to open the locket halves. (See detailed filling steps below)
• I offer a nice selection of cut-to-order, 2mm quality stainless steel chains finished with secure lobster clasp closures.

☆ Helpful DIY Filling & Care Guide:
● Remove your chain completely to slide open the openwork locket halves.
● Gently pull the locket halves apart as shown in the photos, slide a fingernail down the seam, or push the center loop outward. There is no mechanical latch.
● Set your glass orb over a clean plate or sheet of paper while filling to catch any accidental spillage.
● Use the provided mini funnel to add small amounts of fine ash dust (similar in particle size to fine table salt). Use the enclosed pick tool to help guide the contents gently into the orb opening.
Pro-Tip: If needed, using a standard fine mesh sifter beforehand helps separate the finest ash particles for smooth placement. This process takes a steady hand and patience.
● Once the orb is filled roughly 3/4 full, apply a small drop of clear, slow-drying jewelry adhesive to the rubber plug and press it firmly into the opening to permanently seal your precious memento.
● Feed your chain back through both top loops of the locket to secure the entire structure shut before wearing.
● Keep your finished jewelry clean and dry. Avoid wearing your memorial piece while swimming or bathing.
● Please handle your piece with care. Like all delicate glass items, the internal keepsake orb may crack or break if dropped against a hard surface.
• Fragile Glass Care:
While high-quality glass is utilized for these keepsake components, glass remains an inherently breakable material and must be handled with gentle care. Please note that replacements or warranties cannot be offered for glass elements broken during personal handling or accidental drops.
