Keep your locket dry and clean.

• It can be tricky and take a LOT of patience for some. DIY experience varies for everyone. It does not mean that the jewelry is faulty. It just takes patience, effort, and craftiness to get a nice result.
• Thos may sound harsh, but I want you to be prepared. You can not just put a wad of hair in this locket and hope that it will close and turn out nice. It takes a little creativity.
• I'll offer some helpful tips that I do when I fill lockets for buyers.
♡ For longer strands of hair, it is helpful to wind it around a pencil or similar 1st. Then, carefully push it into the locket.
♡ For shorter hair or hair that you do not mind trimming down (like in the photo), set some strands of hair over the glass area to eye how much to trim down the hair. You might have to trim and try inserting a few times to have it look nice.
• Sometimes stragglers will stick out the side of the locket no matter what you do or how careful you are. I use a lighter to singe them away. Then, I apply glue with a wood pick around the edges to seal the locket.

    Use a clear slow drying glue such as epoxy or jewelry specific glue to seal your jewelry. Glue sold in my shop if needed.
    Superglue not reccommended.
